The owner-approved policy direction prohibits fully synthetic video and images and prohibits AI-generated advertising. It allows editing, restoration, captioning, translation, upscaling, and comparable technical processing when the underlying work remains human-created and the result does not misrepresent authorship, identity, consent, or provenance.
Formal adoption, Creator Agreement integration, and the distinct policy-freeze controls remain release blockers. The approved standard requires human review, a second reviewer before a profile freeze, written notice, an independent appeal, and advance approval for any permitted exception.
